A viewfinder for the recce. Frame the shot at your real lens, read the light, and come home with the shot list already written.
Pick a recce and tap Open camera. Step through the lenses in your kit, pick the frame lines and press the shutter. Each shot is saved with a number, a caption, the lens, the time and the light. Try it below.
Drag the sun along the line under the frame. Its path is drawn over the picture with each hour marked and golden hour in orange, and the light read changes as it goes. On the phone you turn to look round; here, drag the picture.
Every shot remembers which way the camera faced, so the app can tell you when it will be backlit, side lit or front lit, and the best time to be there. This is the plan and the day strip from a Detailed shot card.
Tap ↻ Portrait for vertical work. The whole layout turns: the frame, the ratios for upright work (9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9), the lens and the shutter. Tap ↻ Landscape to go back.
Every shot lands in the Shot List with its still, caption, lens, time and light. Open one to add notes or change its frame lines, drag them into order under Edit, then tap Export. Shots you took in the viewfinder above are here too.
Detailed opens with a plan for the day in the order the light comes round, gives each scene a page with its map and the sun, then a card per shot: the frame, the light, when to be there and room for notes. Summary is one line per shot. Photos only is just the frames.
